He also holds a PHD with the first honors from the same department in 2002 - Thesis entitled: "investment services at banks and its rulings in Islamic jurisprudence".

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed is a member of the Grand Islamic Scholars Body in Dubai, an Associate Professor of the School of Shari'a at the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain and an acknowledged expert in Shari'a finance.

Dr. Al Olama is also the head of the Fatwa Committee of the Zakat Funds in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Al Olama has written extensively on modern Islamic finance and has presented numerous research papers at various international conferences.

He currently serves on a number of Shari'a boards representing Islamic financial institutions and Takaful companies, some of which include Dubai Islamic Bank, al hilal bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Noor Islamic Bank, Dar Al Takaful, Mawarid Finance and Manazel Real Estate.

Dr. Al Olama holds a PhD in Comparative Islamic Law from Umm Al Qurra University in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Holder of Bachelors in Shari'ah from Damascus University (1967), a Master from Baghdad University, Iraq (1970), and a Doctorate with the 1st honor from Dar al-Ulum Faculty of Cairo University, Egypt (1973), with the specialization in “Contracts and Financial Transactions in Comparative Islamic Jurisprudence”. His thesis was: “The Provisions of Possession in Contracts in Islamic Jurisprudence”.

Retired professor of Islamic Jurisprudence & its fundamentals from Faculty of Shariah, Umm al-Qura University, Mecca (1973 - 1990).

Author of more than 25 books, more than 50 research papers, and has supervised more than 25 master's and doctoral thesis in Islamic Jurisprudence and its fundamentals, and Islamic economics.

Permanent member of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, a designated member of the Islamic Fiqh Council of the Muslim World League in Mecca, and a keynote speaker at the seminars of Future of Business Islamic Bank organized annually by the National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Head of Shari’ah Board of Citi Islamic Investment Bank in Bahrain, the Islamic Investment Fund Limited of Credit Suisse in Guernsey, Channel Islands & Minhaj Advisory in Dubai.

Member of Shari’ah Board in many institutions such as FWU Takaful GmbH in Dubai, Ratings Intelligence in United Kingdom, Citi Islamic Global Equity Fund in Luxembourg, the Islamic Fund “Oasis” in United Kingdom, Al Fanar Fund Group (Permal Investment Management Ltd) in United Kingdom, and Islamic Leasing Fund (Australia & New Zealand Bank) in United Kingdom.

He holds a doctorate (2016) in jurisprudence and its fundamentals - specializing in Islamic economy, a master's degree (2009) in jurisprudence and its fundamentals and a BA (2006) in Sharia and Islamic studies, with excellence in all academic stages from University of Sharjah.

Dr. Ahmed Almarzooqi is leading Sharia department in Mawarid Finance Group. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Sharjah Center for Islamic Economics, and he is a certified trainer with the General Council of Islamic Banks (CIBAFI) and worked in Sharia supervision for Dar AlTakaful insurance company and ADIB.

Dr. Ahmed Almarzooqi has a long and varied experience in the field of Sharia consulting, Sharia auditing, at the level of banks, financing institutions, investment and Finance companies, Islamic financial brokers and Takaful insurance companies.

Dr. Ahmed Almarzooqi has many scientific and applied contributions in the field of Islamic economy. He is the creator of the first Digital finance channel through smart device applications registered with the Ministry of Economy in the United Arab Emirates. He has many published and non-published books in the same field, such as "Digital Finance in Light of Islamic Jurisprudence" and “Mawarid Finance Group Fatwas” and "National Bonds, in the light of Islamic jurisprudence", as well as many scientific papers in conferences and seminars.
